The pillow is built with 4 layers of fabric - the outside pocket on each side (of the outside) contains the down only.  The middle compartment contains the feathers only. This gives the pillow a softer feel to the touch and provides slightly firmer support for the head and shoulders. The pillow is built with a zipper closure to provide adjustable filling if required.

  Care : Down  pillows are designed to be machined washed.

  Before washing your pillows, be sure to check them for any tears .Use a mild detergent.

  Dry them on the delicate cycle, start with medium heat then move to low as the pillow dries. Because of how thick pillows are, you may need two or three cycles.Add dryer balls or clean tennis balls to help fluff . Be sure to dry completely before use.Using a damp pillow could lead to mildew and shorten the life of your pillow.

Care

The following are our recommendations to maximize the life of your sheets.

When you first open your Order, please ensure you wash them before using for 2 reasons:

1. To remove any residue dye or finishing chemicals from the fabric
2. Our cotton sheets are over cut to allow for shrinkage on first wash. 90% of the cotton shrinkage will happen in the first wash.

Washing instructions

• Wash in warm water on delicate cycle with low amounts of liquid detergent.
• We do not recommend the use of liquid fabric softeners as this will break down the fabric faster.
• To maintain white crisp sheets, do not use bleach, it will devastate cotton. We recommend a colour safe bleach alternative . 
• Dry on med-low heat
• Remove from dryer immediately to limit wrinkling
• Ironing is not necessary, however will improve the smoothness and luster of your sheets 

Note: Over time, our fabrics will relax and will wrinkle less and less

Pro Tip: if possible hang dry your sheets, it can help to increase the longevity of your bedding.
