What makes James Bay down different from other types of down?

James Bay down is known for its exceptional loft, warmth, and lightweight feel. Ethically harvested in Canada, it offers a rare balance of softness and insulation that rivals even the most luxurious alternatives, while supporting local and sustainable sourcing practices.

Is the James Bay collection suitable for sensitive sleepers?

Yes. Both the down and the ticking fabric used in the James Bay collection are hypoallergenic. The TENCEL™ Lyocell and cotton blend ticking is soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin, making it ideal for allergy-prone or sensitive sleepers.

Can I wash my down comforter at home?

Yes, however you first should ensure that your washer and dryer are large enough to accommodate your down duvet.

Tradition of Luck

There is an old Scandinavian tradition: when a young woman married, her parents would bless the happy couple with a new down-filled duvet and pillow set. This set would have been lovingly handmade for the couple by the bride's mother.
