The following are our recommendations to maximize the life of your Shams & Pillow Cases.

When you first open your Order , please ensure you wash them before using for 2 reasons:

1. To remove any residue dye or finishing chemicals from the fabric
2. Our cotton Shams & Pillow cases  are over cut to allow for shrinkage on first wash. 90% of the cotton shrinkage will happen in the first wash.

Washing instructions

• Wash in warm water on delicate cycle with low amounts of liquid detergent.
• We do not recommend the use of liquid fabric softeners as this will break down the fabric faster.
• To maintain  crisp , do not use bleach, it will devastate cotton. We recommend a colour safe bleach alternative such as Borax. 
• Dry on med-low heat
• Remove from dryer immediately to limit wrinkling
• Ironing is not necessary, however will improve the smoothness and luster of your bedding .

Note: Over time, our fabrics will relax and will wrinkle less and less

Pro Tip: if possible hang dry , it can help to increase the longevity of your bedding.

There are no chemical components, just a special weave and finishing that will stay mite and bed bug proof even through many launderings.

The Allergy protector's natural and tightly woven design features an average pore size of just 15 microns. This effectively blocks all dust mites and can reduce exposure to dust mite waste by 70%, providing a safer and more comfortable environment.
