I purchased down pillows from Guildcraft 18 years ago and only recently was feeling that they were a bit wimpy. I contacted Guildcraft and spoke to Carolyn who offered me a few alternatives. In the end she and Cindy added some additional down to my pillows and mailed them back to me in a very timely fashion.

It is like a brand new 100% goose down pillow that I’m sure will see me through retirement!

WASHING AND DRYING

Machine wash using moderate temperatures and gentle cycles in a small to moderate load. Do not use ‘water saver’ settings. Select a mild soap such as Tide Free, Linen Wash, or Ivory. Do not use any type of bleach or fabric softener. Machine dry on gentle using a moderate temperature; do not over dry. Ironing can be done on the appropriate fabric setting while the fabric is still slightly damp.

PILLING PREVENTION

Do not use caustic soaps, bleaches, Persil, or Woolite detergents. Sleep in nightwear made with natural fabrics; nightwear made with synthetic fibers is one of the biggest causes of pilling. Do not launder with any articles that are heavy or coarse, they can scour the fabric. Acne medications and whitening toothpastes contain chemicals that will bleach almost everything

What fabric is the Daria collection made from?

The Daria duvet cover and shams are made from 100% long-staple cotton with a smooth 340 thread count sateen weave.

Where is this bedding made?

Daria is made in Portugal exclusively for Guildcraft, ensuring exceptional European quality and finishing.

Is this duvet cover set machine washable?

Yes. For best results, machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners.

What’s included in the Daria set?

The set includes one duvet cover and a pair of matching knife-edge shams (one sham for Twin size). Pillow and duvet inserts are sold separately
