Duvet Care
- Shake everyday; this gets the dust out and fills it with air
- Hang out to air occasionally
Duvet Washing
- Geese get wet! We do not recommend dry cleaning
- Wash every 18-24 months (unless there is a spill)
- Go to laundromat; use front loading drum washer (no agitator)
- Use warm water and mild soap
- Dry in the dryer (on medium to high heat) for 1-2 hours
Pillow Care
- Fluff and shake your pillow on a daily basis
- Use pillow protectors to extend their life
Pillow Washing
- Wash at least 2 pillows to balance the cycle when possible
- Use warm water & gentle soaps without additives
- Consider an extra rinse cycle to ensure the soap is gone
- Fabric softener is not recommended because it can coat the down & feathers reducing their fluff
- Be patient while drying, it can take multiple cycles to get the pillow completely dry
- Hand fluff between cycles to gauge dryness, it is better to err on the side of more drying time than less, as this prevents mold
- Clumping or odor are signs your pillow is not completely dry yet. The pillows may still be damp inside even though they feel dry to the touch
